    COVID-19 ACTIONS

Due to the unprecedented and rapidly changing circumstances and for the safety of our patients, staff, and their families, we are currently teleworking and our therapists are only providing Telemental health visits except for essential evaluations mandated in very specific cases.

We are still accepting new patients via Telehealth. You may still call the office and leave voicemails, we will be checking them periodically however the best way to contact us for prompt assistance is via our email at admin@potomaccenter-inc.com.

About Telehealth: We are offering Telemental health visits for existing and new patients with our therapists. They can either be done by phone or by video call. Telemental Health visits are covered services by insurance companies. Please note, Tricare/Humana Military do no cover phone sessions, sessions have to be video audio. For the duration of this public health emergency, CareFirst & Medicare are waiving copays for Telemedicine with in-network providers.

We sincerely wish you safety and health during these difficult times.

    What is Neurobiofeedback?

Neurofeedback addresses problems of brain dysregulation. These happen to be numerous. They include the anxiety-depression spectrum, attention deficits, behavior disorders, various sleep disorders, headaches and migraines, PMS and emotional disturbances. Neurofeedback is a kind of biofeedback, which teaches self-control of brain functions to subjects by measuring brain waves and providing a feedback signal.

Sessions are usually not covered by insurance. Sessions are $110 (per 20-30 min) &  $200 (per 45-50 min).

Please contact us for more information or to schedule an appointment at

admin@potomaccenter-inc.com or call us at 703-379-7350.

What is Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)?

The SSP is a unique, bottom-up intervention that works on the passive groundwork of the nervous system, usually in 30 days.  While most mental health therapy works on the active systems of Learning and Behavior, the SSP works directly with the senses and body awareness to bring about change at the nervous system’s foundation.  Together with therapy, the SSP allows for active and passive support towards your mental health goals.

SSP is not covered by insurance, the fee is $200.
